The Border Guard Institute of Turkmenistan hosted the event organized in honor of award of dog Akhan of the State Border Guard Service with the main prize of international exhibition «Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy» (Brave Turkmen Shepherd Dog of 2021).

As is known, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has presented seven Turkmen shepherd dog cubs to border guard personnel on May 16, 2019. The head of the state expressed confidence that when they grow the cubs would be reliable helpers in protection of the State border showing the best characteristics of these dogs, which have formed up for centuries.

During the meeting with the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, the border guard personnel assured that they would put all efforts to bring up the dogs deservingly. The victory of the soldier of the State Border Guard Service in international contest and award of title «Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy» to his dog are visual indication to this.

Brave Akhan has deserved the highest assessment of the jury and entered the history as one of the best representatives of the breed while Rejepmyrat Myradov who brought up and trained was awarded with the main prize, Toyota Camry vehicle, Challenging Cup and Diploma.

According to the Order of the head of the state, R. Myradov was awarded with medal «Türkmen edermen» in ceremonial atmosphere.
