Turkmen weightlifter Aysoltan Toychiyeva wins two bronze medals at Asian Championship in Tashkent

Master of Sports from Mary Aysoltan Toychiyeva has won two bronze medals in snatch and in total result of two disciplines at Asian Weightlifting Championship in Tashkent. 24-year old foster of Honored Coach of Turkmenistan Ikram Matkarimova achieved this success in non-Olympic weight category up to 81 kg, in which 8 sportswomen from 7 countries competed.

By the results of two disciplines, Aysoltan has lifted 218 kg (96 kg in snatch and 122 kg in clean and jerk), having won 1 kg from Nigora Suvonova (Uzbekistan) and having not reached1 kg to her best result shown at the World Championship in Ashgabat in 2018. Karina Kuzganbayeva (Kazakhstan) was a silver winner in this weight category with result of 232 kg (104+128). Jang Hyun Joo (The Republic of Korea) with236 kg (103+133) has become Asian Champion.

Two our athletes – Ovez Ovezov (up to 109 kg) and Hojamuhammet Toychiyev (above 109 kg) are yet to compete at Asian Championship where not only the medals but rating pints necessary for participation in the Olympic Games in Tokyo are contested.
