President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has paid a visit to International Ahalteke Equestrian Complex where inspected the work carried out in mounted divisions of military and law enforcement agencies of the country. Turkmen leader has also watched the racing and looked around the horses, which would participate in International ahalteke horse beauty contest.

In the morning, the head of the state has come to International Ahalteke Equestrian Complex located at the foothills of Kopetdag Mountains.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Secretary of the State Security Council Ch. Amanov has reported to the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan on preparation made by mounted divisions of security forces to coming celebration events in honor of remarkable dates.

Having received the report, the head of the state has inspected the works carried out in International Ahalteke Equestrian Complex on occasion of the 30^th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence, in particular the activity of mounted groups of the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior and the State Border Guard Service.

Addressing the heads of military and law enforcement agencies, the President has ordered to approach the solutions of subjects of improvement of work among the personnel, provision of them with necessary resources for efficient service on comprehensive basis.

Construction and opening of modern complexes for military and law enforcement structures, modernization of existing administrative buildings, their provision with advanced technologies, all of this is a visual evidence of successful implementation of the reforms for strengthening of the foundations of Turkmenistan’s independence.

Big work is carried out at the initiative and under leadership of the President of Turkmenistan for development of equestrian sphere, modernization of its structures, increment of livestock of pedigree ahalteke horses, activation of international cooperation in this sphere, popularization of various equestrian sports and national horse race traditions.

Horses from the stables of ministry and law enforcement agencies participate in races organized in the capital and regions in the last years and win prizes. Horse coaches, who are engaged in training of horses, make deserving contribution to enhancement of glory of ahalteke horses.

Further, 1,000 meter races took place among 2-year old horses, whcih are training by relevant divisions of security forces. Horse Nyazik from the stables of the Supreme Court of Turkmenistan was the first at the finish.

9 selected 3-year old horses competed on the distance of 1,200 meters. Ahalteke horse Bagabat from the Ministry of National Security was a winner.

While visiting International Ahalteke Equestrian Complex, the head of the state has looked around the horses, which would participate in International ahalteke horse beauty contest.

For this purpose, mounted divisions of security forces prepared 9 horses, which are distinguished with rare color, beauty and are the fosters of famous breed lines.

As it was mentioned, special attention is paid to equestrian sports in military and law enforcement agencies, which includes care of the horses, increment of elite livestock, training and riding.

After, the head of the state mounted Khanbeg, which is kept in International Ahalteke Equestrian Complex, and went to one of the stables.

The structure of International Ahalteke Equestrian Complex includes number of profile facilities, which makes it to be the main link in development of national horse breeding sphere. The complex, which is designated for keeping of 600 horses, includes administrative building, museum, training ground, 12 stables, indoor training ground for foals and other facilities.

Aba Annayev village has been built in Kyarizek Administration division for provision of favorable social and living conditions for horse breeders and specialists. This beautiful village has secondary school for 240 students, kindergarten for 160 children, shop,, sport and children play grounds. In other words, the most favorable conditions have been made for efficient work and comfortable stay of specialists.

Thoughtful location of the complex, its provision with advanced equipment and special vehicles, which have everything for breeding, care and training of thoroughbred ahalteke horses, diagnostics and treatment of their diseases and by this, has all necessary conditions for increment of livestock of the horses.

The President inspected the conditions of horses in the stable. Various types of horse harnesses as well as saddles and horse’s shoes have been demonstrated there. Further, officer of patrol squadron of M. Berdimuhamedov military detachment No. 1001 of the Ministry of Interior of Turkmenistan has demonstrated horse’s shoes.

Turkmen horse coaches made foundations of high horse breeding culture, which results have gained unfading glory through the centuries. Selecting the best horses, they have isolated them to avoid crossbreeding with other breeds for preservation of the purity of the breed. In the result, unique ahalteke horses, which made big influence on development of other breeds, have appeared.

The head of the state has visited special ground of the complex where inspected the training process of the horses of the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior and State Border Guard Services, which are prepared for the show jumping competitions.

The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has also visited the stables for male horses. Having familiarized himself with special features of their care, the head of the state has requested to approach to this with full responsibility and addressed relative officials with specific instructions.

Further, a new foal was demonstrated to Turkmen leader. It was informed that the foal is a foster of Genjim and Gulnahaly, which line goes to the famous Gelshikly.

The heads of security forces have asked the head of the state to give name to new foal.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has named newborn foal Esger and tied up a charm, which was made by his mother Ogulabat eje, around the neck of the foal.

Addressing the commander of military and law enforcement agencies, the head of the state noted that it would be appropriate to organize artistic readings, music and song performances with participation of cultural and art personnel of the country on occasion of National Turkmen Horse Holiday and Turkmen Shepherd Dog Day, which are celebrated as a single holiday, near the sculptures of famous horses Polatly, Yanardag, “10 horses” sculptural composition, which was built in honor of the 10^th anniversary of independence as well as next to the monument of the horse rider with dutar and the monument of Turkmen shepherd dog on April 19 – 25.

Military personnel who are engaged in artistic activity have to be attracted to participation in these events, the President noted and ordered to provide to conduct these activities on high organizational level.

Further, the head of the state and commanders of security forces went to the place of construction of the complex of buildings of International Association «Türkmen alabaý itleri», which is at the final stage.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Chairman of International Association «Türkmen alabaý itleri» S. Berdimuhamedov has reported on the situation at the construction site of the facilities, which is at the final stage, and on development of surrounding territory.

The vice-premier has reported that coming opening of new complex would be an excellent gift for all Turkmenistan citizens on occasion of National Turkmen Horse Holiday and Turkmen Shepherd Dog Holiday.

Having focused on current works, the head of the state expressed interest in special features of interior and exterior design, development of surrounding territory and lighting system.

Use of high-quality decoration materials, color palette of which has to meet national patterns is the main requirement, the President highlighted requesting to hold the work in this direction under permanent control.

The head of the state noted that it is necessary to focus on solution of issues of study of history of this breed and finding of the most famous breed lines, which have to be carried out with participation of kennel specialists and profile scientists. Such an approach will enhance the world glory of Turkmen shepherd dog, which is loyal and brave defender and close friend, Turkmen leader said addressing relative officials with certain instructions.

The main goal of the Association «Türkmen alabaý itleri», which was founded in May 2020, is to increase number of Turkmen shepherd dogs, taking the breed to international level based on application of methods of national breeding and achievements of national kennel school.

The President has requested to prepare thoroughly to the opening ceremony of the complex of buildings of International Association «Türkmen alabaý itleri», which would be held on occasion of National Turkmen Horse Holiday and Turkmen Shepherd Dog Holiday.

It is necessary to continue putting necessary efforts for improvement of the efficiency of works aimed at enhancement of the glory of ahalteke horses and Turkmen dogs, the head of the state noted.
