President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference working session with participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers as well as heads of the regional and capital administrations.
Issues of social and economic development of the main city of the country and regions, seasonal agricultural works, preparation to spring sowing campaign and remarkable dates have been reviewed at the session.
Coming over to the agenda, the head of the state has called head of Ashgabat’s administration Ya. Gylyjov and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdiliyev who reported on work for modernization of the infrastructure of the main city of the country, situation at construction sites of facilities, which would enhance an architectural look of Ashgabat.
It was informed about preparation of the events planned on occasion of the Day of Ashgabat and 140th anniversary of its foundation and on the measures for its development and for support of the streets in clean conditions.
Having noted that major reforms expanded in the city are to provide an integrated development of Ashgabat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the necessity to hold work for improvement of municipality services and city administration, introduction of digital technologies into this sphere under permanent control.
The head of the state said that to achieve this goals it is necessary to study the best world practice in this field and to develop construction projects and make plans for the development, which have to include ecological and aesthetic aspects.
The best national architectural traditions and modern solutions have to be harmonious in architectural image of Ashgabat. Turkmen capital has to be an exemplary city by all meaning taking into account its high status, especially if it is related to comfortable conditions for life of people, the President said.
Having focused on preparation to the celebration of the 140th anniversary of Ashgabat and 30th anniversary of independence, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave instructions for provision of high level of events timed to these dates to the vice-premier and head of Ashgabat administration.
Further, video conference working session was continued with participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers E. Orazgeldiyev and heads of the region.
Governor of Ahal Region Ya. Gurbanov has reported on the situation in the region. It was mentioned that works for preparation of fields to the cotton sowing, ploughing and planning of the fields, maintenance of equipment and vehicles, which are to be used in sowing campaign is made, provision of necessary volume of seeds to the cotton producers are carried out. At the same time, measures for high production of potato and onion are undertaken.
The head of the region has informed that all efforts are put for timely fulfilment of objectives outlined in the Program of social and economic development of the country and National rural program with high quality.
The governor has also reported on the measures for timely completion of construction of the facilities planned to be opened in the region on the threshold of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.
Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of care of the fields under wheat and preparation to the cotton sowing. The head of the state has addressed the governor with to take care of spring potato and onion for to receive good yields of these crop and to satisfy the demand of the population in local agricultural products as well as to complete sowing of other vegetable and cucurbitaceous crops in the set timeline. The instructions for preparation to spring tree planting campaign have also been given.
In addition, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has requested to take measures for commissioning of modern vegetable hothouses, which have been built in Ak Bugday and Kaahka districts, in March this year.
The head of the state has ordered the vice-premier and governor to hold the construction of social, cultural and production facilities, which are planned to be opened on occasion of the 30th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, under strict control.
Further, Head of Balkan Region T. Atahalliyev has reported on the situation in agricultural complex of the western region, in particular on seasonal agricultural works in the fields.
In this regard, it was noted that preparation to the cotton sowing is carried out on integrated basis. Measures for completion of sowing of potato, onion and other crops, care of wheat are undertaken.
Construction of new hothouse farms is also continued in the region. All efforts are put to accomplish the tasks for this year, which are specified in the Program of social and economic development of the country and National rural program.
Relative works are carried out for timely completion of construction of the facilities, which are planned to be commissioned on occasion of the 30th anniversary of the country’s independence.
Having listened to the report, the head of the state highlighted the importance of timely completion of agricultural activities and gave number of instructions for efficient organization of these works. The assignments for cultivation of vegetable and cucurbitaceous crops as well as for preparation to spring tree planting have been given.
In addition, the head of the state has requested to take measures for commissioning of modern vegetable hothouse farm, which has been built in Trukmenbashy district, in March and to hold the construction of facilities of social, cultural and production infrastructure , which are planned to be opened on occasion of the 30th anniversary of the country’s independence, in the region under strict control.
Working video conference session was continued with report of Governor of Dashoguz Region N. Nazarmyradov who informed about seasonal agricultural works in the region and preparation to spring tree planting campaign.
The head of the regional administration has also reported on the measures for solution of objectives followed from the Program of social and economic development of the country for 2019 – 2025 and National rural program as well as on preparation to commissioning of modern hothouse.
Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that works expanded in the fields of the region have to be made on proper level. It is necessary to approach the spring tree planting campaign, which is a factor of ecological wealth, on organized level, Turkmen leader emphasized.
In addition, Turkmen leader has requested to take measures on occasion of the opening of modern vegetable hothouse in Gyorogly district, which is planned to be commissioned in March this year.

Further, Governor of Lebap Region Sh. Amangeldiyev has re[ported on the situation in the region, in the report, it was mentioned that all efforts are put for effective fulfilment of works, which are planned for this year according to the Program of social and economic development of the country and National rural program.
Summing up the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has stressed the importance of care of winter crops and preparation to the cotton sowing as well as on completion of planting of vegetable crops according to the set timeline.
Our country pays special attention to solution of the objectives in ecological sphere, therefore it is necessary to prepare comprehensively the spring tree planting campaign, Turkmen leader said.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has also requested to organize the opening ceremony of modern vegetable hothouse, which would be commissioned this March, on proper level.

Further, Head of Mary Region D. Annaberdiyev has reported on the situation in the region, preparation to the spring sowing of cotton, care of wheat and measures for production of vegetable and cucurbitaceous crops.
It was mentioned that necessary measures are taken for realization of works, which are planned under the Program of social and economic development and National rural program, including timely commissioning of new hothouse.
Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has requested to carry out activities for care of winter crops and to prepare to the cotton sowing. The importance of care of spring potato and onion, provision of sowing of other vegetable and cucurbitaceous crops has been noted.

Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has focused on such important subjects as coming sowing of cotton, having instructed to use agricultural equipment to full operational capacity.
The head of the state has noted that our country pays special attention to rational use of water as to the main factor of dynamic development of agricultural complex and other industries, environment protection and provision of comfortable life of people.
In addition, the President has requested to solve the issue on rational use of water resources, creation of additional reserves of water, prevention of soil salinization and improvement of soil conditions of the fields properly under the Program of social and economic development of the country until 2025.
Turkmen leader has requested to organize works for involvement of modern irrigation methods and equipment taking into account natural and soil conditions of the country, to continue modernization of technical fleet of the State Water Management Committee, to accelerate implementation of digital system and world practice in this field as well as to organize clean-up of water flows and collecting channels and addressed other specific instructions on this account to the vice-premier and heads of the region.
To provide the population of the country with required volume of potato, vegetable and cucurbitaceous production of own make, the head of the state has given instruction to carry out necessary work together with regional administrations for provision of producers with high-quality seeding material.
Further improvement of food abundance, enhancement of social and living level of the population, comprehensive development of the country are out main goals, the President emphasized noting that fulfilment of all adopted government programs is the main requirement in this case. Therefore, responsible approach of every official to solution of set objectives is the main objective.
