Cooperation with Mir Television and Radio Company under Discussion

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has hosted an online meeting with Chairman of the Mir Interstate Television and Radio Company R. Batyrshin. The sides considered the possibilities for cooperation in the field of information exchange and mass media. The meeting resulted in the signing of an Agreement on Cooperation in Information Policy between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Mir Interstate Television and Radio Company, and an Agreement on Cooperation between the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography of Turkmenistan and the Mir Interstate Television and Radio Company. Notably, the signed documents are an important step towards reaching wider audiences for the Turkmen media by the distribution of news and information-and-analytical materials through the Mir Interstate Television and Radio Company’s resources.
