A roundtable videoconference meeting, dedicated to the prospects of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the International Ocean Institute (IOI) was held at the Caspian Sea Institute. The heads of the IOI and the Caspian Sea Institute, representatives of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Türkmendeňizderýaýollary Agency among others took part in the forum, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality. As emphasized, stands for establishing broad cooperation and uniting efforts in the implementation of promising projects to preserve the Caspian Sea ecosystem. Particular attention during the meeting was paid to the management of the Caspian Sea, in particular, the application of international maritime conventions in relation to this unique natural reservoir, the applied aspects of international maritime law and its study within the educational programmes of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan.
