As noted, the main tasks of these documents are to protect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, as well as to contribute to the further democratization of society and the observance of state interests. Moreover, the deputies considered the draft Resolutions of the Mejlis ""On accession to the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization to the Convention on Biological Diversity"", ""On the ratification of the Agreement between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation on cooperation in security"", ""On accession to the International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonization of Customs Procedures"". The draft legislative acts submitted for consideration by parliamentarians were unanimously approved and adopted.
