During extended video conference session of the Government, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the participants with speech, in which he has focused on priority aspects of the state policy as well as specified the main objectives for near future. It was mentioned that it is necessary to develop drafts of the main direction of social and economic development of the country, the State budget and Investment program for 2021. Having provided intensive social and economic development, we have to continue implementation of socially oriented economic policy on introduction of modern methods of market economy, the President said. Having set the objectives to bring the rates of the GDP to 6.2 percent, the President of Turkmenistan has noted that all mentioned works have to be provided by dynamic development of all branches of national economy. Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has highlighted that in addition to this, it is important to plan measures for reduction of negative impact of complications in global economy on national economy in order to provide its further steadfast and dynamic development. Turkmen leader has pointed out the necessity of significant increment of volumes of investments used for development of the economy and improvement of social and life level of the population, to provide sufficient volumes of financial resources for further continuation of construction of production, social and cultural facilities. It is necessary to continue special attention to implementation of the program of increment of volumes of production of import substitute commodities, export oriented goods and establishment of electronic industry. Following the principles of social orientation of national economy, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has ordered to send more than 70 percent of all expenditures of the State budget to development of social sphere. It was requested to send 28.5 percent to financing of education, 10 percent to health protection and 24.8 percent to provision system from this resources. Measures for 10 percent increment of salary wages, payment to those who works in national economy, pensions and state allowances, student scholarships will be continued. It is necessary to provide prosperous life of our nation in the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2021, the President highlighted, having noted that all these works provide social protection of the population, provision with work and deserving conditions for work and life. Having signed the document on sending of the Draft State Budget 2021 to be reviewed by the Mejlis, the Head of the State sent it by electronic document management system, having requested to review the main financial plan of the country at the next session of National Parliament.
