Three-day online courses for young diplomats from foreign countries, which were organized by the Foreign Ministry, have started with webinar in the Institute of International Relations of the Foreign Ministry. More than 30 diplomats from 13 countries namely Austria, Afghanistan, Bealrus, Hungary, China, Malaysia, Pakistan, Russia, United States of America, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and South African Republic participate in the courses. Director of the Institute of International Relations Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev has addressed the participants with greeting speech and expressed hope that online classes would help diplomats from different countries of the world to expand their knowledge about the policy of neutrality, which has become a foundation of foreign strategy of Turkmenistan and supported its successful integration to the processes of global development. Director of International University of Humanitarian Studies and Development as well as ambassadors of Turkmenistan working in the Institute of International Relations have given lectures on the first day of the courses. Representatives of the Foreign Ministry as well as professors and teachers of profile universities of the country have been invited for conducting webinars. The subjects of the course of lectures are “The history of Turkmen model of neutrality and its successful implementation”, “Turkmenistan and United Nations Organization – Cooperation in humanitarian direction”, “Energy, transport and ecological diplomacy of Turkmenistan and other subjects. Lessons in discussion format is planned within the course. Online training for young diplomats from foreign countries will be continued in the UN Regional Center of Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia on October 22. The webinars will last until October 23 inclusively.
