Turkmenistan increases wages, pensions, government benefits, scholarships starting from January 1, 2021

According to the Decree signed by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, wages, pensions, government benefits, scholarships in Turkmenistan will be increasd by 10% starting from January 1, 2021. In accordance with the Decree, starting from January 1, 2021: the minimum pension for participants in the Great Patriotic War in the amount of is 1557 manats per month; the minimum pension for the spouses of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers is 457 manats per month; the base value for determining the minimum pension is 372 manats; the base value for calculating state benefits is 354 manats. The minimum wage in Turkmenistan is 957 manats.
