The Ministry of Health Protection and Medical Industry hosted video conference session with the representatives of health protection sphere of the Islamic Republic of Iran chaired by Acting Minister of Health Protection of Iran Asadi-Lari. Taking into account complicated situation in the world caused by COVID-19 pandemic, the focus was made on exchange of practice in combating and prevention of spread of sever infectious diseases. With regards to relevant experience of Turkmenistan, it was noted that documents indicating high level reached by our state in prevention and combating of infectious and non-infectious diseases, which were recognized by the world community, have become the result of work carried out under leadership of the Head of the State. In this regard, the initiative for activation of cooperation in scientific diplomacy, establishment of International Medical Scientific Council, provision of conditions for regular exchange of opinions of doctors, scientists, experts and specialists of other profile spheres is very current. Other priority directions of further development of bilateral cooperation in health protection sphere have been discussed during the meeting.
