Video conference session organized by International Migration Organization (Geneva) under regional project “Introduction of Advanced Passenger Informational System (API) in Central Asian countries for 2020 – 2021” was held. Representatives of migration of border guard services of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the session. Regular online meeting was organized for introduction of novelties in API system as well as for exchange of views on its practical implementation and future plans of works n this direction. The participants of the session highlighted importance of regional project for common safety, provision of which is one of the main objectives of the state policy pursed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. During the meeting, representative of International Migration Organization in Central Asia has noted positive practice of cooperation under this structure including implementation of perspective plans for 2020 – 2021 for passenger regional projects of advanced informational system. According to general opinion of the participants of the session, being important transport and transit centre, Central Asia plays significant role in sustainable development of the region and continent. In this regard, special attention is paid to study of practice and introduction of modern methods in this sphere.
