Last week, 25 transactions were registered at the State Commodities and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. Business people of Cyprus purchased for foreign currency the “B” carbamide (SC “Turkmenhimiya”); and business people of Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Iran and Afghanistan contracted the technical sulfur (SC“Turkmengaz”). In addition, foreign currency contracts were concluded for purchasing the refined cottonseed oil, cotton yarn, and ginned cotton. The countries-buyers were: Russia, Great Britain, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Ukraine. The total amount of transactions exceeded US $9,927 thousand. For manat funds, representatives of business circles of Russia and the United Arab Emirates purchased the refined cottonseed oil and cotton yarn (over 3,447 thousand manat). Domestic entrepreneurs contracted for the home market polypropylene and cotton ginned mote (over 366,000 manat).
