In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Aknabat Atabayeva is released from the position as the Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan for higher and secondary technical schools and is appointed as the Deputy Khyakim of the Mary Velayat in charge for education, culture, healthcare, and sports.
