In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Deputy Chairman of the State News Agency of Turkmenistan Arslan Ashirov was appointed as the Chairman of the State Committee for TV and Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography. In accordance with the Decree, Nurmammet Garlyyev was released from the position as the Chairman of the State Committee for TV and Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography for serious shortcomings in his work.
