Turkmenistan enters into diplomatic relations with the Republic of Sierra Leone

The Protocol on the establishment of diplomatic relations between our country and the Republic of Sierra Leone was signed at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Steadily implementing the policy of peacefulness, positive neutrality and “open doors”, our country has regularly expanded the geography of dialogue with foreign partners, establishing fruitful ties with states in different regions of the planet, including on the African continent. In frames of the signing ceremony, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for interstate cooperation, including such areas as agriculture, geology, and investment. Particular attention was also paid to cooperation in the spheres of medical services, taking into account the experience gained by our country in the healthcare area. Turkmenistan and the Republic of Sierra Leone expressed the mutual interest in developing multi-aspect friendly dialogue.
