Realization of the third stage of Regional Programme of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime for Afghanistan is reviewed

The Foreign Ministry held online meeting in video conference format on implementation off the third stage of Regional Programme of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime for Afghanistan and neighbouring countries. Having given high appraisal to active position of Turkmenistan in provision of regular support to Afghanistan, the participants of the session highlighted that due to constructive policy of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, our country takes the main positions in Central Asia and demonstrates peace-making potential in development interregional cooperation. Special attention was paid to strengthening of regional cooperation in security, control of drug traffic, combating against illegal financial flows and money laundering as well as improvement of economic cooperation for support of efforts in development of Afghanistan.
