Bilateral cooperation in health protection and combating COVID-19 coronavirus infection were brought out to the agenda of video conference session with participation of representatives of profile facilities and scientific structures of Turkmenistan and Japan. As is known, our country stands for consolidation of joint efforts and development of coordinated activities for combating of the spread of coronavirus of new type from the first day of pandemic threat. During online meeting, integrated measures taken for prevention of the spread of dangerous infection including targeted studies and development of efficient medicine and vaccines, exchange of practice and improvement of effective international relations in this field were the subjects of interested discussion. The participants of video conference noted big potential for development of fruitful cooperation between scientific institutes and health protection structures of Turkmenistan and Japan in current directions of modern medicine as well as in training of qualified specialists.
