It is mentioned in the message that legal status of permanent neutrality of the country was confirmed two times by the Resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly. The UN Resolution of Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan is 25 years in 2020. The concept of popularization of importance of major projects and programmes of development in the world, which are aimed at prosperity of the country and improvement of social and living conditions of the citizens as well as goals and objectives of foreign and home policy, important international initiatives are reflected in the slogan of 2020 “Turkmenistan – Home of Neutrality”. “Carrying out daily duties, you have to follow the provisions of the Military Doctrine, defining military and political, military and economic, military and strategic bases of provision and integrity of borders of our country. You have to be deserved descendants of great Turkmen sons, to continue their heroic way, to master combat skills and military art. I am confident that we will always be loyal to responsible mission, will strengthen independence and permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, which is recognized by the world community, to protect national interests, guarantee rights and freedoms of citizens, to provide peace and solidarity of society, to strengthen the bases of democratic, legal and temporal state. Sports unites the countries and nations, to strengthen friendship and fraternity. We held V Asian Indoor and Martial Art Games in Ashgabat in 2017, the World Weightlifting Championship in 2018. This year, we host Asian Futsal Championship, round of international tennis Davis Cup as well as the World Sambo Championship. I am confident that you will make deserving contribution to provision of high organizational level of all these events, will participate and perform successfully in the competitions, having improved international sport authority of the country”, - the message says.
