President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has extended his deep condolences on behalf of the people of Turkmenistan and on his own behalf to President of the Republic of Singapore Tony Tan Keng Yam on the passing of first Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore Lee Kuan Yew. «Lee Kuan Yew was a distinguished politician and statesman who has carried out the enormous work for prosperity and happy life of Singapore and its people», the message reads. The head of Turkmen state conveyed the words of sincere sympathy and support to the relatives and close friends of the deceased, as well as the people of Singapore.
