Speaking at a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov specified the interstate humanitarian cooperation among the priority areas of cooperation. As emphasized, this year the Forum of Creative Intelligentsia of the CIS countries was successfully held in Ashgabat. A number of other significant social and cultural events were also held in the Commonwealth states. “We are aimed at the wide and comprehensive development of relations in the scientific, educational, cultural, sports, tourism and other fields of humanitarian partnership within the CIS. We consider cooperation in this area as a key factor in strengthening the ties of friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of our countries”, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized.
