Last week, a grand ceremony of presenting a new edition of the book “Turkmenistan is the country of prosperity and progress” authored by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov was held in the conference hall of the Ministry of Education. The new edition with statements of the leader of nation Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov “Turkmenistan is a country of prosperity and progress” was published in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory in the War of 1941-1945 and Day of Constitution of Turkmenistan and Magtymguly Fragi’s Poetry in May. Noted for its excellent printing quality, the book is illustrated with photographs of our veterans and present-day defenders of the Motherland, the capital’s “Halk Hakydasy” Memorial Complex. Designed for the general reader, it will serve as an important source of wisdom and knowledge both for young Turkmen people, who have the native country’s future in their hands, and for foreign readers, who are interested in the achievements and progress of Turkmenistan. The book contains numerous quotations from the speeches and addresses of the leader of nation, a true patriot of his country, a humanist and a wise politician, whose international initiatives aimed at the creation, strengthening of peace and concord between the nations, have won wide recognition in the world community.
