Ashgabat has hosted solemn ceremonies to bestow state awards and honorary title badges on the best specialists in different sectors of the national economy, foremost workers, employees of ministries, agencies and their departments, creative professionals, who have made major personal contributions to promoting the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and enhancing its international standing. By Decrees of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, our fellow countrymen are honored with awards and titles for their many years’ diligent and dedicated work. This is yet another vivid illustration of the fact that professionals and masters of their trade, who make the best use of their experience, knowledge and talent to serve their Motherland, are held in high respect in our country. These people, who are determined, gifted and perform their duties faithfully and conscientiously, serve as inspiring role models for the youth of the nation. On instructions from the head of state, the Mejlis Chairperson and Cabinet Deputies Chairman attended the ceremonies, which were held in the atmosphere of complete unity and high excitement. The high-ranking officials congratulated those assembled on the great occasion, the 28th anniversary of the country’s independence, wishing them happiness, well-being, and more and more success ahead for the sake of the native country and its prosperity. Being presented with the deserved awards, the recipients with unconcealed excitement expressed their gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the high accolades. As highlighted, the decisions made at the second Khalk Maslakhaty (People’s Council) meeting will provide further powerful impetus to the country’s progressive development and contribute dramatically to the people’s well-being.
