On the significant occasion - Day of Science, a grand ceremony of awarding the winners of the annual competition of scientific works among the youth organized by the Central Council of Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly in association with the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan was held in the conference hall of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University. Every year, the number of participants in this prestigious scientific competition increases. This year, it was attended by 897 young talents who presented their developments and researches in such fields of science, as: innovative technologies in the agro-industrial complex; ecology and rational use of natural resources; energy and fuel, and their economic use; building, architecture and seismology; medicine and pharmaceutical industry; information and telecommunication technologies; and others. The awarding ceremony was attended by the members of the government, heads of the country’s ministries, departments and higher educational institutions, scientists, representatives of public organizations, teachers and students of different educational establishments, doctoral candidates and postgraduate students of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. Among the guests of honor there were participants in the International Scientific Conference “Science, Engineering and Innovative Technologies in the prosperous epoch of powerful state” that opened on June 12 in the capital’s Technologies Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. On behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, honorable diplomas and valuable gifts were presented to the winners of the youth scientific competition. The results of researches and practice-relevant works of the intellectual competition’s young prize-winners are released in the fourth issue of the annual periodical - “The steps in science of young scientists in the happy epoch”, prepared by the Central Council of Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly.
