Reception of documents from aspirants to high and secondary professional educational institutes has started in Turkmenistan. 12,242 school graduates, which is 3,392 people more than in the last year, will become the first grade students this year. It is also planned to have 8,054 students, who will study on commercial base. 33 new directions of training have been introduced in existing universities of the country. The Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technology will have its first batch of students. Taking into account the requirements of different branches of national economy in qualified personnel, the number of specialities in secondary professional facilities of the country has also been increased. Enrolment to schools with special skills and knowledge, which are related to future profession of students, will be increased. This year, 42 secondary professional schools will receive 9,043 students this year according to the requests of the ministries, departments, facilities and organizations. Entry exams to pedagogical secondary professional education facilities under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, medical professional education facilities under the Ministry of Health Protection and Medical Industry, professional schools under the Ministry of Culture as well as to the universities will be held from June 24 to August 14. At the same time, self-accounting secondary professional education facilities will accept the documents until August 10 and the entry exams to this facilities will be held on August 13 – 17.
