The Group of national equestrian games ""Galkynysh"" arranged a tour to Jilin Province of China. The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the People's Republic of China, the people's government of the province and the Jilin Shengshi Totem Horse Calche Co. Ltd. organized festivities on occasion of the visit of our group in the city of Chángchūn. According to the organizers, this is the first tour of a foreign group of artists in the circus of the city of Chángchūn in the last 30 years. The performances of the renowned group are an important event in the cultural life of the Chinese region, whose residents have a great opportunity to get acquainted with the art of horse riding and exciting acrobatic stunts performed by Turkmen riders. Local authorities, the representatives of the Federation of Entrepreneurs, workers of culture and arts, as well as Turkmen students studying in Changchun attended the festivities. The exhibition of works by well-known Chinese artist Li Furong, dedicated to Ahalteke horses was arranged as part of the tour of Turkmen equestrians to China. The exhibition was organized with the assistance of the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan, the Academy of Modern Painting, the China Academy of Art. In frames of the visit to Jilin Province, the representatives of the Turkmen diplomatic mission had a meeting with the Vice-Governor of the province. The head of the Foreign Affairs Office, the director of the commerce department, and other senior government officials attended the meeting. The prospects for cooperation between our country and this region of the PRC, which is a major center of the automotive industry, and leader in the development of the scientific and educational sphere in the country, were discussed during the meeting. The Chinese side expressed gratitude for the invitation to take part in the First Caspian Economic Forum. The embassy staff also held talks with the leadership of the Northeast Pedagogical University, during which they discussed еру opportunities for cooperation and organized a meeting with Turkmen students studying in Chángchūn universities.
