First sportsmen representing Turkmenistan national judo team came to Italian Napoli. These are five young men and women who won the right to represent the country at the XXX World Summer Universiade. Qualification competitions in water polo, water jumping and football have been started. Swimmers and fencers take the baton on July 4 together with judo wrestlers. Qualification tennis matches start on July 5. Our country is represented by Hajimurat Chariyev in this sport. Athletics competitions start on July 8. Decathlete Irina Velikhanov will contest for the medals in this sport. Archery masters will join the competitions on July 9.
