Last week, the Beijing Jintai Art Museum hosted a specialized exhibition of books and decorative and applied arts under the motto “Book for Peace and Progress”, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the People’s Republic of China in accordance with the Program of International Activities, approved by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, in honor of the 20th anniversary of our country’s neutral status and announcement of 2015 the Year of Neutrality and Peace. More than 300 exhibits of the State Publishing Service of Turkmenistan, as well as original works by young jewelers were on display. The creative group of the National Conservatory performed classical works by Turkmen and foreign composers. The specialized book exhibition, illustrating the history of the Turkmen people, their culture and traditions, as well as present tremendous achievements of independent neutral Turkmenistan, featured the world-famous works authored by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, colorfully illustrated editions of folk epics, classical works by Turkmen and foreign writers, art books, children’s literature. - All of these make it possible to demonstrate the diversity of the book-publishing industry in Turkmenistan, and exhibition visitors have a good opportunity to gain a more vivid picture of the Turkmen state and its leader, whose policy of neutrality promotes strengthening of peace on our planet, prosperity of the friendly people owing to the reforms carried out by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, which have unrecognizably changed your country in the modern epoch of power and happiness, - member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Professor Yuan Xikun stressed.
