Turkmen boxer Nursahet Pazziyev is the bronze winner of Asian Championship

Asian Boxing Championship in held in Bangkok (The Kingdom of Thailand) on April 16 – 27. 315 sportsmen from 35 countries contest for the medals of the tournament in different weight categories. Our team has won one medal. Nursahet Pazzieyv, who works as a boxing coach the Olymp secondary sport school of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs of Turkmenistan, won the bronze in the weight category up to 75 kg. Special value of the victory is given by the fact that the sportsmen came back to the ring after four years of break. On his way to the semi-final, N. Pazziyev confidently took over the boxer from Syria, however, he lost to the sportsman from Kazakhstan in one step from the final fight. Our compatriot is the bronze winner of 2010 Summer Junior Olympic Games in Singapore and the participants of 2012 Olympic Games in London. At present time, 2020 Summer Olympic games in Tokyo is the main goal of Turkmen boxer. Due to hard training, Nursahet is the main aspirant to the place in National team.
