Conference hall of Oguzkent Hotel hosted the meeting of members of the Governments, heads of number of profile ministries and departments, scientific and educational centres of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea timed to the state visit of President Moon Jae-in to our country. Opening the meeting, the participants stated with delight high level of bilateral partnership and positive dynamics of development of the relations between two countries in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. It was highlighted that current high-level talks would give new stimulus to interstate cooperation in wide spectrum of directions. Noting favourable investment climate for work of foreign partners in Turkmenistan, representatives of Korean delegation said about the intent of business circles of the Republic of Korea to expand their presence in rapidly growing Turkmen market. Intensification of the cooperation in fuel and energy section was separate subject of discussion. The importance of the implementation of the projects in this sphere, particularly in oil and gas processing, production of petrochemical goods, training of personnel for petrochemical complex has been highlighted. The sides also discussed number of specific measures for diversification of business partnership, which has significant potential, having paid special attention to scientific, technical and technological exchange. Having highlighted the importance of cooperation in humanitarian sphere, the participants spoke for further expansion of educational and scientific contacts, cooperation in health protection sphere as well as cultural dialog between two states. It was mentioned that Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea have unique heritage of spiritual and tangible culture, in which regard the activation of the partnership in this sphere would support the rapprochement and strengthening of friendship between the nations of two countries. After the meeting, the members of the delegation of friendly country expressed the gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Government of Turkmenistan for hospitality and expressed the confidence that reached agreements would have practical content very soon and would serve to further activation of beneficial traditionally friendly dialog between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea.
