Central Election Committee of Turkmenistan has published the information of the elections of the Mejlis deputies, members of the People’s Councils and Gengeshys in certain electoral districts by 19:00. 91.12 % of electorate have voted at the elections of the Mejlis deputies. 90.86 % of electorate have voted at the elections of the members of the People’s councils of the velayats and Ashgabat including 90.97 % in Ahal Velayat, 90.48 percent in Lebap Velayat and 90.47 % in Ashgabat. 90.71 % of electorate have voted at the elections of the People’s councils of etraps and cities including 90.91 % in Ahal Velayat, 90.64 % in Balkan Velayat, 90.86 in Dashoguz Velayat, 90.60 in Mary Velayat and 90.67 % of electorate in Ashgabat. 90.90 % of electorate have voted at the elections of the members of Gengeshys including 90.93 % in Ahal Velayat, 97.59 % in Balkan Velayat, 89.48 % in Dashoguz Velayat, 90.97 % in Lebap Velayat and 90.47 % of electorate in Mary Velayat. According to the information from Central Election Committee, the elections were recognized to be over. Counting of the votes has started upon the closing of polling stations. According to the provisions of the Election Code, the results of the elections would be announced shortly.
