Jumanazar Dovletnazarov from Turkmenistan wins the gold of Open Fencing Championship

Jumanazar Dovletnazarov won gold medal at the Open Junior and Cadet Championship of the Central Asian Fencing Confederation, which was finished in Tashkent on February 17. 150 sportsmen from national teams of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan participated in the competitions. Our sportsmen won 9 out of 10 fights and took over the opponent from Uzbekistan with confidence in the final. D. Dovletnazarov is 10th grade student of school No. 22 from Balkanabat. Despite his young age, our countryman is the leader of the junior team f Turkmenistan, which would have to compete against the best fencers of Asian continent in Amman (Jordan) from February 25 to March 7. Central Asian Fencing Confederation was founded in November last year by our country, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Open Junior and Cadet Championship of the Central Asian Fencing Confederation is the first international competition held by new regional structure.
