The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, according to which the Institute of History and the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Academy of Sciences are merged together. The Institute of History and Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences is assigned as the successors of the Institute of History and the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Academy of Sciences. The Academy of Sciences is assigned to develop and approve the Draft Provision on the Institute of History and Archaeology in set order. The document also assigns the Academy of Sciences together with the Ministry of Justice to prepare and present the proposals on amendments and addendums of the legislation of the country following from this Resolution to the Cabinet of Ministers in one month period.
