The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having approved the Programme of Reduction of seismic risk in seismic zones of Turkmenistan and the Action Plan of its implementation for provision of safe social and living, economic and ecological conditions for the population in seismic dangerous zones of the country, detection and calculation of level of seismic danger as well as for reduction of impact of possible earthquakes. According to the document, the Ministry of Defence, the Academy of Sciences and other relative ministries and departments are assign to provide the implementation of the above-mentioned Programme.
