Opening ceremony of Polyethylene bags and polypropylene pipes production facility took place in Bayramaly, Mary Velayat. Representatives of velayat and etrap administration, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, public organizations, honoured elders and youth took part in the event. The best construction workers received valuable gifts. According to the contract with «Eşretli kenar» private company, the facility, which was provided with modern equipment from the leading world manufacturers, was built on turn-key basis by «Älemabat» business entity. Technology line of the plant is designed for production of 1,800 tons of various polyethylene film and 257 tons of quality polypropylene water pipes with 20 – 60 mm diameter. The demand for such production grows permanently in the world. In the future, the production of the facility is planned to be exported. Range of application of the film is quite broad, for example, as packing material in agricultural production, textile and food industry. Having high durability, chemical resistance against acids, bases, greases and oils, excellent dielectric features, the polyethylene is widely used as a feedstock for production of technical and household items like films, bags, pipes as well as for insulation of electrical cables and in hothouse farms. Establishment of the facility for production of polypropylene and various polypropylene goods both for local and foreign markets is priority direction of national petrochemical industry. it was started by the construction of the units for production of polypropylene from liquefied gas received from oil refining at Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex. As is known, opening ceremony of polymeric plant – the largest in the region petrochemical complex for production of polyethylene and polypropylene, was held in Kiyanly settlement in October last year. It is worth mentioning that the material for new facility is delivered from polymeric plant in Kiyanly settlement and Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex. Great attention was paid to the requirements of ecological safety during the construction of the facility.
