Turkmenistan to Allocate Funds for Construction of Mosque in Afghanistan’s Village of Aqina

To ensure further support provided by Turkmenistan to achieve peace, stability and security in Afghanistan; to provide humanitarian assistance to the brotherly people of Afghanistan; the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution authorizing the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (Mazar-i-Sharif) to conclude a contract with Afghanistan’s Ghazanfar Construction, Road Work Rail Way Construction Material P.CO for the construction of a mosque to serve 500 people in the village of Aqina, district of Andkhoy, province of Faryab of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The document envisages the commencement of construction works in November 2018 and the commissioning of the fully functional mosque in December 2020.
