President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov who is currently on working visit to New York, received Board Chairman of Oxbow Group William Kosch in his residence. Having expressed the gratitude for the opportunity of personal meeting, American businessmen congratulated President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 27th anniversary of Independence of the country as well as on the speech at the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, having noted the urgency of initiatives on provision of peace and sustainable development, activation of international cooperation proposed by Turkmen leader. The Head of Oxbow Group highlighted that US business circles are interested in increment of beneficial cooperation with our country, which demonstrates high rates of economic development. Having expressed the gratitude to the guest for good words, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that having taken the course to modernization of economy, Turkmenistan expands constructive dialog with all interested foreign partners paying special attention to introduction of innovative technologies. In this regard, the Head of Turkmenistan state with delight that number of biggest American companies that have huge scientific and production potential have been participating in implementation of important national projects for many years. During the meeting, the sides exchanged the views on cooperation between Turkmenistan and Oxbow Group in basic sectors of national economy, particularly, perspectives of the partnership in fuel and energy sphere, training of qualified specialists as well as in number of other priority direction of the state development have been discussed. Being one of the leaders in the sphere of natural resources processing, Oxbow Group is willing to provide wide spectrum of services to Turkmenistan, - American businessman said. William Kosch highlighted the interest of the company in continuation of procurement of petroleum coke, carbamide products and sulphur produced in Turkmenistan. During the conversation, William Kosch made number of proposals on activation of cooperation. In the end of the meeting, having expressed the gratitude to Turkmen leader for substantial conversation, the Head of Oxbow Group expressed the willingness for efficient partnership and assured that all capabilities of the company would be involved for these purposes.
