President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who attended the Garabogazkarbamid plant opening ceremony, launched new production. A film that tells about the process environment of the ammonia and carbamide production was demonstrated to the ceremony participants. The President of Turkmenistan also visited the modernized Garabogaz marine terminal that receives the goods produced at the Garabogazkarbamid plant for the further shipment. The terminal, equipped with the latest technologies, is capable to serve two vessels simultaneously. The special equipment produced by the German company FAM and two 80-ton loaders of the Liebherr company were installed at the pier to load the goods to vessels. A special submarine canal with the length of 2,000 metres and width of 100 metres was dug there to ensure the free passage of vessels. Thus, the marine environment was deepened to eight metres. A distinctive feature of the finished products transportation system from the plant to the terminal is a three-kilometre ecologically safe, covered conveyor system. The carbamide produced at the plant is piped directly to the sea terminal and from there is loaded onto ships that significantly saves time, transport costs and ensures the safety of goods.
