President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is currently on his leave, dedicated his free time to the work on continuation of book “Turkmenistan – the Heart of the Great Silk Road” and doing some music art. Protection and study of historical and cultural monuments and intangible values, their broad popularization are the cornerstone of the state policy aimed at the improvement of intellectual potential of the society. Original heritage of our people is infinite treasure carefully passed from generation to generation, the Head of the State highlights. This is the theme, which is reflected in many works of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Rich tangible and spiritual heritage of Turkmens and glorious past inspire artistic man for creation of new works, the President mentions. The Head of the State dedicated his day to the work on the book about the history, national culture and nature of the country. Fundamental work of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Turkmenistan – the Heart of the Great Silk Road” written last year is dedicated to the past of the country, original traditions and rites, history of the cities founded along this transnational route. This work, which has been translated to dozens of foreign languages, became available for numerous foreign readers. Another work of the Head of the State based on different sources, especially on valuable historical information and documentary materials, which remained until our days, is the continuation of book “Turkmenistan – the Heart of the Great Silk Road”. Like all scientific and literature works of the President of the country, the book will sum up the data contained in historical and literature studies and manuscripts of different historical periods. Being the support of family values, the Head of the State spends his holiday with his grandchildren engaging them to various art directions. Kerimguly, who follows his grandfather in everything, dedicates all his free time to sport and music art. This day was not the exclusion. The boy continued working on the music to the poem «Sportly Türkmenistan, which President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov completed on the day before. Kerimguly has elaborated the composition taking into account the recommendations and wishes of the grandfather and asked the Head of the State to assess it. Having listened to new composition of his grandson, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that song have to reflect the spirit of time but at the same time, music traditions of the nations shall not be forgotten. During the conversation, Turkmen leader told about the richness and variety of music language. Composing the music, it is necessary to combine all these elements, the Head of the State said, having advised to elaborate the composition a little to make it perfect. The Head of the State noted that the art makes great influence on the development of spiritual world on the individual. Every composition based on national traditions has to be unique and remain through the centuries. Music works distinguished by originality and being exemplary gain wide popularity and love of people, reflects the ties of times and generations becoming integral part of national cultural heritage. Having finished working on music composition, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov together with his grandson Kerimguly, who accompanied him on guitar, has sung new song песню «Sportly Türkmenistan» dedicated to coming International rally Amul – Hazar 2018, achievements of national sports and beauty of local nature in Turkmen and English languages.
