The national team of Turkmenistan won the silver and two bronze medals of the Asia Youth Weightlifting Championship among juniors in Urgench, Uzbekistan. Bunyat Rashidov won the silver medal in the under 62-kg weighting category in the Squat Snatches event. Two our athletes won the awards in the under 69-kg weighting category. Shatlyk Shohradov won the bronze medal in the Squat Snatches event, and Begench Amannaev won the bronze medal in the Clean and Jerk event. All the athletes are the students of the School of Young Olympic Athletes Polina Guryeva won the bronze medals in the under 63-kg weighting category. As of today, the national team of Turkmenistan has won two gold, six silver and five bronze medals.
