President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent greeting message to the participants of international scientific conference and festival “Ancient Sources of Music Art”. I am confident that international conference and festival dedicated to study and popularization of music art in the world will be productive and appropriate, - the message of the Head of the State says. – The conduct of such international forum on neutral Turkmenistan is very important in the context of deep study of ancient sources of music art and development of friendly relations. Primary sources of music art are unique component of cultural heritage, folk art, classic literature of Turkmen nation. Study and popularization of the history and unique features of music art and its protection for future generations are among the main objectives of art experts and specialists in the study of national heritage, - the message highlihgts. Destans “Gyourogly”, “Leyli and Mejnum”, “Sayatly-Hemra”, “Huyrlukga-Hemra”, “Shasenem and Garyb”, “Nejep-oglan”, “Yusup Ahmet”, “Yusup and Zuleykha”, “Asly Kerem”, which are the part of the treasury of the world culture, are our national heritage that absorbed centuries-old history of Turkmen music art with the colour and subtleties typical for the mentality of our people. Rich in content destans and folk art are our priceless heritage. Sample of destan art, the epic of “Gyorogly” and kushtdepdy singing and dance art were included into the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural heritage in 2015 and 2017 respectively. It was big event in the history of Turkmen music art. At present, high authority of Turkmenistan in international community is due not only to its economic power but to also rich historical and cultural values of Turkmen people. Huge national heritage accumulated for the millenniums is visual evidence of the importance of our country in the world culture. I am confident that international scientific conference and festival “Ancient Sources of Music Art” will support the popularization of music art, development of friendly and creative contacts between cultural and art masters of the world’s states, familiarization with music and songs of the nations of the planet, - the message of the President highlights.
