In settlement of Dushak in Kaka etrap of Akhal velayat within the realisation «National Rural redevelopment Program of the President of Turkmenistan for 2020» the ceremony of foundation laying of a maternity department for 20 beds took place. Authorities of etrap khyakimlik, honoured elders, workers of health care sector, and representatives of pubic organizations, mass media and local residents took part in the ceremony. Deputies of the Mejlis came to congratulate them on this event there. The medical unit will render services to the population of settlement of Dushak, village of Shukurbagshi, villages of Mane and Chache of Kaka etrap of Akhal velayat. Equipment of the given establishment of public health services by the modern medical equipment is provided. In the new maternity department rooms of reception and examination, equipped ward of intensive therapy for adaptation of new-borns, intensive care ward for operative obstetrics interventions, operational and pre-operational wards , a laboratory, rooms for electrocardiogram and ultrasonic, female prenatal care and doctors will be provided. As doctors who spoke on behalf of their colleagues, underlined, creation of conditions for preparation of qualified personnel for the branch, constant increase of professional level of medical experts at the disposal of whom - the latest technologies and equipment, became a key factor of attainment of domestic public health services at the world level achievements. Efficiency of system actions for preventive maintenance and control over infectious diseases is confirmed by the concrete indicators recognised and highly appreciated by the international community, including the World Health Organization. The great attention is thus given to the development of healthcare in rural areas. Representatives of the public in their speeches also noted the contribution of people's elected representatives - deputies of the Mejlis - in advancement of reforms and decision of social problems in places, the foundation-laying of the new medical centre in settlement of Dushak also attested to this fact. Creation of such establishment has demanded vigour and purposefulness of Serdar Berdymuhamedov who represents in the parliament the interests of inhabitants of the 24th election district of Akhal velayat. Thus, the reform of rural public health services held by the head of state bears real fruits. It is expansion and modernisation of material basis of system, mass character of preventative work, the maximum availability of professional medical services with their territorial approach, personnel maintenance of rural medical institutions. The modern organisation of medical aid to agricultural population occurs within the complex national and regional programs considering features of development of this or that district of the velayat with a view of most effective utilisation of its resources in strategic directions of state development.
