By an existing good tradition, in anticipation of the incoming New Year, there was a festive event in “Döwletliler köşgi” (in the Orphan Palace), where foster-children were presented gifts on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. All-round concern for the young generation of Turkmenistan is one of the most important social policy aspects of the Turkmen leader. Our country creates all conditions in order to provide kids a happy childhood. Thanks to such reverent treatment, our children, including the children of the “Döwletliler köşgi”, have the opportunity to develop their skills. Young talents take the most active part in prestigious competitions and festivals in the country and abroad. The decoration of this New Year’s festivity in the “Döwletliler köşgi” was a great concert at a fluffy gorgeous New Year tree, sparkling by multicolored tinsel, garlands and lights, which gathered pupils and teachers of the Palace. The joy of children was also shared by numerous guests – representatives of the ministries of education, culture, public organizations, Ashgabat khyakimlik that helped to organize the event. Popular musicians, artists as well as the favorite fairy-tale characters visited children. And traditionally, the kind fairy Ayaz baba and his granddaughter Garpamyk took the central place in the performance. Members of the dance bands “Joshgun” from “Döwletliler köşgi”, “Ruhubelent chagalar”, “Gyzyl guljagaz” delighted the audience as well as the “Shatlyk” group of Children and Youth Palace. In order to celebrate the occasion, young spawns, dressed in colorful costumes, reeled friendly around the New Year tree to the fiery songs of famous singers of the country. Children were particularly impressed by the vivid acts with participation of trained animals, jugglers’ performances, hilarious skits of funny clowns of the “Shovhun” circus group. At the end of the celebration, the “Döwletliler köşgi” pupils expressed their gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the wonderful gifts and happy peaceful childhood, conveying the best wishes and congratulations on the incoming New Year.
