Goshaniyaz Durdiyev is the gold winner of VII International Martial Arts Games

VII International Martial Arts Games including competitions in 15 martial arts have started in Minsk. This traditional tournament unites non-Olympic martial arts giving the opportunities to test the capabilities on international level to bring it closer to the status of Olympic discipline. The first day of the tournament brought three medals to Turkmenistan team. They all were won in taekwondo (ITF). Goshaniyaz Durdiyev won the gold in weight category until 64 kg, having taken over experienced fighter from Uzbekistan in the final. The bronze medal was won by Orazmyrat Chariyev in tuli discipline (complex exercises). Our girls were also performing deservingly. Myahri Agayeva won the bronze in the weight category until 51 kg. It is worth mentioning that all the winners are the student of National Institute of Sports and Tourism of Turkmenistan. The tournament will last until December 3 and such successful beginning makes us hope that current prizes are not the last at these competitions.
