In Meshed the ceremony of transfer of humanitarian cargo directed on behalf of the government and the people of Turkmenistan for the population of area of Sarpol-e-Zahab of province Kermanshah, which suffered from the strongest earthquake of 7,4 points by Richter took place. The cargo delivery - medicines transferred without compensation under instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, was carried out by a special motorcade. The total cost of production delivered makes up more than 280 thousand manats. As noted at the corresponding Order of the head of state, this step was dictated by high humanistic ideals of Turkmen people and also friendly and good-neighbourhood between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The earthquake which occurred in the western region of Iran has caused numerous human victims, mutilations and large scale destructions. Turkmenistan has immediately responded news of the act of nature and was one of the first to have sent such necessary aid at the difficult time to the brotherly Iranian people. Our countries are connected by primordial bonds of friendship and mutual support. The historical roots of good-neighbourhood Turkmen-Iranian relations take their origin from depth of millennia and form today a basis of mutual respect and mutual aid. The ceremony of transfer of valuable cargo of medical products was held in the pharmaceutical warehouse of Medical University of city of Meshed who pro-rector for food and medicines - doctor Saberi headed the Iranian side at the action. The director of crisis operations of governorship Khurasan-Razavi Ahmad Sahebnasag and management of chemist's department of medical university of Meshed, representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of IRI also took part in the ceremony. On behalf of the Iranian government and the people of the country they expressed deep gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the government and the people of Turkmenistan for a powerful support rendered to the Iranian people during such difficult moment for them. Separate words of gratitude for assistance in delivery of humanitarian cargo were addressed to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in IRI and Consulate General of our country in Meshed. Representatives of leading Iranian mass-media, journalists and operators of television of the province Khurasan-Razavi took part in the action.
