President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave fast breaking food donation in the capital’s mosque located in Mir 7 residential estate on the first day of Ramadan.

On his way to the building of the cabinet of Minsiters, the place of extended session of the Government and anniversary session of International Ahalteke Association, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected works for renovation of sculptural composition dedicated to ahalteke horses, which is located in the centre of the capital, at request of Vice-premier Sh. Durdiliyev and Hyakim of Ashgabat Ya. Gylyjov.

The Public Organizations Center has hosted a grand ceremony to present foremost professionals of the horse breeding industry with state awards: the Garaşsyz Türkmenistana Bolan Beýik Söýgüsi Üçin Order, the Gaýrat Medal, the Watana Bolan Söýgüsi Üçin Medal, as well as badges of honorary titles of Türkmenistanyň At Gazanan Atşynasy and Türkmenistanyň Halk Atşynasy in honor of National Turkmen Horse Day.

An online meeting with Assistant Director-General, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), Shamila Nair-Bedouelle was arranged at the International University of Humanities and Development under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

National Institute of Education hosted video conference session of the Board Committee of European Union Project “Support of Education in Turkmenistan”.

The festive events, dedicated to the upcoming national holiday – the Turkmen Horse Day were held in the administrative center of Lebap Velayat with the participation of the government officials, the representatives of the Mejlis, ministries and departments, mass media, and numerous guests.

Competitions among the best master jockeys, which were held in Lebap Equestrian Complex, have been accomplished by the victory of Perhat ridden to the finish by Tachmyrat Dovulbayev.

Lebap Equestrian Complex hosted celebration events. New season of races has been started on the threshold of National Turkmen Horse Holiday. This event has been forestalled by big preparation work, which included reconstruction and development of facilities of the complex – the main building with conference hall, visitor stands, racing tracks, stables. Trees and shrubs have been planted on surrounding territory.

The foreign Ministry of our country hosted video conference session with General Director of the World Organization for Animal Health Monique Eloit.

The Foreign Ministry hosted a briefing with the main subject about measures in health protection of the population and assertion of the principles of healthy life style in Turkmenistan.
