As it has been already informed at the extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers on the outcomes of six months of the year, the President of Turkmenistan announced the holidays for the Government of the country during July 9 – 23.

Conference hall of the Officers House of the Ministry of Defence of Turkmenistan hosts the session dedicated to remarkable event – by special Decree of the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Grandfather of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Berdimuhamed Annayev was conferred with high state award “Medal of Honour” for personal courage displayed serving military duty during the Great Patriotic War.

An Ahalteke horse Akhan, bred at the Ahalteke horse complex of the President of Turkmenistan, entered the Guinness Book of Records. The horse demonstrated the best result rearing the 10-metre distance and improved the previous result, recorded in 2016, twice!

Vice-premier M. Chakiyev informed at the session of the Government that it is proposed to introduce the internet service on fast call of taxi for the provision of high quality services to passengers.

During a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ch. Gylyjov reported on the work carried out by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs on the construction of houses and other social and cultural facilities in Ashgabat and the Avaza National tourism zone. It was reported that in accordance with the projects, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs carries out the preparatory work for the construction of a complex of facilities in Ashgabat residential complex Gutyly and three cottage complexes on the Caspian Sea coast.

XIII Forum of scientific and creative intelligentsia of the CIS states that brought together the delegates of Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russian federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan has completed its work in the capital of Kazakhstan. It included prominent scientific, cultural, education executives. Heads of the ministries and departments of the Commonwealth states, representatives of interstate structures, international organizations and non-governmental associations.

OSCE Centre in Ashgabat and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan organized a seminar for young mass media specialists in the Yyldyz Hotel in Ashgabat. The seminar brought together journalists of national newspapers, web-based media, radio- and TV-channels.

The 13th CIS Scientific and Artistic Forum has opened in the city of Astana. A delegation of Turkmenistan is taking part in the annual event entitled “Dialogue among the CIS member nations – Prospects for Humanitarian Cooperation in the 21st Century”.

The first graduation of high rank officers of the Military Academy as well as another graduate of the cadets of high educational institutes of military and law enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan – Military and Naval Institutes of the Ministry of Defence, Border Guard Institute, Institute of National Security and the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, were held on June 16. The graduates of the faculty of military medicine of the State Medical University has also joined the ranks of the officers of the country.
