The Health-2018 International Exhibition has opened in the Turkmen capital. A thematic scientific conference and a meeting on the Regional Nutrition Partnership Platform for Central Asia and Caucasus are also being held as part of the exhibition. The medical forum, traditionally held in our country, is co-organized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the greetings to participants of International exhibition and scientific conference “Health 2018” timed to the Day of Health Protection and Medical Industry Personnel.

The city of Mary has hosted the opening ceremony of a Children’s Hospital, timed to coincide with Medical Workers’ Day.

The administrative center of Lebap velayat has hosted the grand opening ceremony of a multipurpose Medical Center and a residential complex.

The objectives stipulated in the State Health Programme, which was elaborated under the leadership of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, namely the prevention of diseases, improvement of average longevity of people, quality of medical services, are efficiently solved by the construction of medical facilities, development of pharmaceutical industry, sanatorium sphere, improvement of the training of specialists of this sphere.

Social and economic strategy of the Head of Turkmenistan stipulates transfer of the country to new level of development drive by mobilization of intensive sources of growth, first of all, by improvement of human factor, development and introduction of innovative technologies and advanced management methods.

Due to hot weather these days, Information Centre of the Ministry of Health Protection and Medical Industry of the country prepared some recommendations about the protection of human body from overheating.

For many countries, Turkmenistan became the model in such important sphere as health protection and in provision of sanitary and epidemic wealth of the population. Large-scale activity in this sphere is aimed at the solution of important state objectives – the protection and improvement of health of the citizens, creation of safe conditions for life and work. Prevention of infectious diseases and environment protection.

A new issue of the journal “Democracy and Law” published by the Turkmen National Institute for Democracy and Human Rights under the President of Turkmenistan in the Turkmen, English and Russian languages appeared in print.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is currently on his leave, dedicated his free time to the work on continuation of book “Turkmenistan – the Heart of the Great Silk Road” and doing some music art.
