Speaking during the press conference on the outcomes of the Ashgabat talks, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated that Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan would continue coordinating the efforts to ensure the sustainable development and its integral parts, including energy security, development of the international transport and transit traffic, ecology and environmental protection.

After signing ceremony of bilateral documents by the results of Turkmen – Uzbek high-level negotiations, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed the representatives of mass media.

The ceremony of bilateral documents signing took place after high-level negotiations. Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Shavkat Mirziyoyev adopted Joint Statement and signed the Agreement on strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the end of the one-on-one meeting of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, extended high-level negotiations were continued with participation of the members of official delegations of two countries.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held one-on-one negotiations in Ashgabat. The talks took place in Bilateral Meeting Hall of the Oguzkhan Presidential Palace Complex after the ceremony of official photography on the background of the State Flags.
