President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed deep condolences to Emperor of Japan Naruhito and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe over numerous victims, injuries, and damages caused by flooding and landslides in the south of Japan.

Vice-premier, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held video conference talks with OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Lamberto Zannier.

The online meeting between the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani focused on the priorities of the interstate dialogue.

In accordance with the Decree of President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Toyly Atayev was released from the position as the Deputy Khyakim of the Berkararlyk Etrap of Ashgabat and is appointed as Khyakim of Berkararlyk Etrap.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a meeting to review the results of work of the foreign policy agency of the country in January-June, 2020. The meeting was attended by the heads and employees of the diplomatic service of Turkmenistan.

The President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolutions for support of increment of volumes of high-quality, competitive local production sold in foreign markets as well as implementation of objectives of the Programme of social and economic development of the country in 2019 – 2025 and the Programme of development of foreign activity of Turkmenistan in 2020 – 2025. According to the document, the Strategy of Turkmenistan to support the activity for organization of exhibitions, fairs and conferences in 2020 – 2025 and Action Plan for its implementation have been approved.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went on leave spending it in one of the resort centres of the country as usual giving preference to active leisure.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers where representatives of National Parliament, heads of ministries and departments, high educational institutes, mass media, heads of Administration of Ashgabat and regions and their deputies have been invited.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov send cable of congratulation to President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin where he mentioned that he recollects with special warmth recent telephone conversation, when he wished successful all-Russian voting on amendments of the Constitution to his colleague, on June 29.

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Bahargul Abdyyeva was released from the position as the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan due to a transfer to another appointment.
